Merry Christmas to who need Happiness
As Christmas is coming in couple of hours, there will be families open gifts and sing carol songs. I’m glad for them, but this greet is to thousands of people who have lost their jobs and houses during the last several quicked months.
80,000 employees were jobless in March as the Labor Department stated. Nov 17, Citigroup announced a news that schocked the media stating a 53,000 job cut to reduce expense for thecompany. AIA, Wamu, Lehman Brothers were out of business letting thousands of people suffer the same thing. Furthermore, stocks fell, houses market went down and several giant banks collapsed; this led a crisis that many lost their investment transforming them from wealthy stock owners to debt payers.
And yet, Christmas can’t be fun without gift. That is how people show love to each other. Well, hold that thought. This Christmas, there will be more spiritual presents than material ones. Husbands will give their wives massages, while the ladies will spend time at home to cook good meals. We ran out of cash to buy expensive gifts. An even more dangerous threat is that the words “Made in China” appears from toys, dress to even home decoration. This phrase has become the symbol of the US losing power and shifting jobs to China, which action promotes more job cut.
This will be still a cold Christmas, but darker than ever; and the red of the holiday will blend into the red of Communist China product. The green color represents the Green Revolution that the US is facing a hard time to catch up giving way to the failure of the Big Three. Overall, this is a simple and sad Christmas for the United States of America.
As I am sad and everybody else, I wish you all having a holiday that love engulves ourselves rather than material goods, and I hope that Obama have the ability to be Santa Clause for this long depressed holiday (as many people can’t go to work)
My love,
Tuaninside
